Comment
Add a CommentLolo Houbein is a survivor of the WWII famine in Holland, which lends credibility to her food production ideas. She expands on the ideas first presented by Mel Bartholomew in his 1981 classic, Square Foot Gardening. Her ideas seem less expensive, easier, and less time-consuming than Bartholomew's. As The Voice of Experience, she makes some chilling predictions and political observations. One Magic Square is an excellent, very comprehensive resource that would be useful to gardening newbies and old hands alike.
