Way better than expected. Funny and well-drawn. There may be some life lessons in this, or it may just be silly thoughtful fun.

Boring and uninteresting. Well-drawn but predictable. It's just this badass guy beating everyone with no fear of ever losing. Really, really lonnnnng. Pointless, learned nothing from it.

I really loved this, more than I expected. I think the dialog was entertaining & the drawing decent. The storyline is pretty standard, seems like they could do more volumes easily...Anyway, one of my recent favorites, will buy it!

One of the worst things I've ever read. All the characters are horrible, superficial people. Long, drawn-out & boring. Pretentious garbage. Alan Moore is the most overrated thing that ever touched comics. Watchmen was okay, but I've never seen anything else good from him. I regret reading this & only wish I could rate it negative 5 stars. One of the worst things I've ever read. All the characters are horrible, superficial people. Long, drawn-out & boring. Possibly the most offensive thing I've ever seen. The only time I've seen a graphic rape portrayed in a comic. Makes the most brutal movies look tame & boring. Horribly disgusting. Drawn so badly I can barely tell what's going on. No storyline or plot whatsoever, doesn't even make any sense. But...For some reason, I like it...Probably cause it's HILARIOUS. Will try to read the rest. Fascinating.Possibly the most offensive thing I've ever seen. The only time I've seen a graphic rape portrayed in a comic. Makes the most brutal movies look tame & boring. Not my thing. Drawn in the style of a meth addict's middle school notebook cover. How much drugs equals this crap? Salem is a guy with a crooked eyebrow. Everything is drawn in a crooked, lazy Tim Burton style. Salem meets a contortionist early on, who seems to be an excuse to abandon basic anatomy. Later we meet a monkey girl who is apparently also a contortionist, since her limbs just go every which way. Boring & predictable, with an ORB & some shadow monsters, this was just not my thing. Barely finished it. Would burn it if I owned it. Alan Moore sucks too.Not my thing. Drawn in the style of a meth addict's middle school notebook cover. How much drugs equals this crap? I almost never relate to characters in any story, but in this case I did. Her questioning & skepticism of stupid superstitions really hit home. You don't see this often. It is more about being female than being a non-believer, but it still reminded me of myself.I almost never relate to characters in any story, but in this case I did. Pretty much over 100 pages of zombie chop up drawings. Darrow basically drew the same thing over & over, with basic variations. Zombies & chainsaws. But it IS well-drawn & pretty funny. No plot or story at all. Still great.

Pretty great idea, reminds me of Time Cat. Nice art too. But the story is pretty stupid throughout. I mean aside from the talking cat, nothing is really believable or natural. The whole flow seems awkward & forced, as if there was never an editing stage. I'd give the art 4 stars & the writing 2.Pretty great idea, reminds me of Time Cat. Nice art too. Starts off promising...What seems to be the 1st "issue" introduces the kid who meets a ghost who appears to be his father. After that, the story quickly tells us about a ton of other characters who seem to be trivial, as we hear gossip about them. Lots of text with convoluted crap I don't care about. What's backstory & what's filler? Boring, couldn't finish it. Starts out promising, with our hero as a hairy mountain man who blows up his "favorite" bar, reminding me of Lobo. But then he sort of morphs into Hunter Thompson & a bunch of other stuff happens but I can't really get into it. From the moment I saw a small ad for this, I knew I'd love it. The artwork is top-notch, beautiful. The writing is immersive, several good characters. Nice layouts & action, such a cool format...Some original "monsters" such as crabs later in the series. The storyline is great, lots of potential for expansion. The epic-looking cover & title made me grab this. I think the story is somewhat interesting, like a Fight Club in the country. But the main character is a total jackoff, talks like a thugg, & the art is absolutely horrible. Seriously, 2nd-graders can draw better than this. And I didn't get any laughs til about page 28, where a guy gets a Beer Thrown Through His Head! Ok, there's some more funny parts later too, but mostly it's just...uhhhh...what? How much meth equals this crap? I couldn't read all the extras at the end, was glad it was over. The epic-looking cover & title made me grab this. I picked this up because the art is nice as can be, high contrast B/W with loose action & nice backgrounds/layouts. One of the worst pieces of crap I've come across so far. Drawn by a drunk teen or a half-blind chimp. Story possibly written by someone who OD'd on drugs or was raised by raccoons. I gave it a couple stars because it has some hilariously interesting mutations & deformed critters. I can't imagine ever reading this title again. Quite interesting. Though it looks like it was drawn by someone who's learning to draw, the clever writing really makes it a solid book. The drawings of the dogs dancing round the fire were nice. When I saw the description: "US vs North Korea vs Dinosaurs"...I was like, "HELL YEAH I'll love this". But from the 1st page, it's utter trash. The opening dinosaur story is as unpleasant to look at as CGI in movies. Very computerized, amateur looking. The writing is so bad it's unreal. The North Korean characters are just there to die. One of the other stories is the Unknown Soldier, an old classic. But this is an updated version, where he's basically Superman. He has powers that put him in God Mode, & it just goes on and on w/him killing everything. YAWN. Then there's another classic, The Haunted Tank, but again it's the modern stupid updated version. Real crap, these people should be ashamed. AVOIDWhen I saw the description: "US vs North Korea vs Dinosaurs"...I was like, "HELL YEAH I'll love this". But from the 1st page, it's utter trash.
