Once again, despicable Hollywood actress, Bette Davis chews up the scenery, non-stop, in this pathetic and truly demented story about life-long grudges, sibling rivalry, and a deep, dark secret kept under wraps for decades.

I watched this movie on Tuesday, it is now Thursday and the movie is still playing tricks on my brain.
Bettie Davis and Joan Crawford gave one of the best performances in their careers, the movie may be a bit outdated for today's movie…

Dated in its dramatic value, and primarily of interest to buffs of film history, Baby Jane from 1962 is a bit slow and sad. Instead, see the well done 2017 FX channel TV series "Feud: Bette and Joan" **** which covers the same territory…

Glad I watched this 1962 movie which I missed due to my young age at the time.
Would have liked it more if I had felt some emotional attachment to the main characters, but I didn't - just kind of watched from a distance.

(Fave "Baby Jane" quote) - "You mean all this time we could've been friends!??"

Joan Crawford and Bette Davis are spot on as their characters in this. Wonderfully written and superb acted. Not a scare film, but a creepy one even tho it was from another era... some things are just always creepy. And in this day and age…

I liked it, it was kind of cheesy, but from a different time period.
Kind of like Hitchcock-- Very good. From a different era than ours, with different tastes and styles, Davis is a little bit campy, over the top, and veers into melodrama. Would this be what they call chewing the scenery? Crawford is a bit…

Wonderfully bent and twisted flick from Robert Aldrich with the one and only pairing of these two icons who weren't particularly warm and fuzzy about each other. Davis was exquisitely creepy as Baby Jane. She blamed Crawford for plotting…
