This was an easy read, course being a book, some parts are a stretch. If that bothers a reader,, then they should read something else.. I found it a good plot n liked their computer savant.

One of Baldacci's better offerings, and far better than the TV series, which was awful. It only lasted one season, and it was easy to see why. Some of the plot is implausable, but all-in-all not a bad book. I do prefer the John…

Sadly I liked the TV series better than the books. Failed Secret Service agents make a good story line if they were ever to stop nagging each other, and his nerd savant has great potential. He does tend to dawdle along and suddenly have to…

David Baldacci tells a compelling and gripping story but unfortunately he lacks technical knowledge which is very often demonstrated in his story endings where he attempts to wrap everything up with some Deus Ex Machina like devices. It…

King and Maxwell is an interesting and easy read about government conspiracy, plots, schemes, deceit, discovery, the Middle East complex, etc. Some dialogues are a bit cheesy and some information may not be accurate. However, I enjoy the…

had a hard time getting into this book, later the story line grabbed me and made me a part of the story, as if it was happening with me there, excellent read!

This was one of the best, if not the best in the series. The characters were compelling, and the story line was "edge of your seat ", with the usual Baldacci "twist" at the conclusion.

As always, Baldacci gives his readers a good ride. However I was somewhat disappointed with this one.

Standard Baldacci fare... no more, no less.

This was my first Baldacci book and I was hooked from the first disc. By the time I got to Disc 4, I couldn't believe that I still had 7 discs to go because the book was as thrilling as a roller coaster. Admittedly, there were some parts…

I am a big David Baldacci fan but this book was poorly written, far fetched and repeatative. Almost seemed to have been written by another author. I

With this book, Baldacci's writing style, IMO, is similar to James Patterson...conversation is used to build the plot rather than narrative and description. Dialogue contains many annoying colloquialisms, many that include the word, "ass".…

Baldacci always hits the mark. This is just another one in a long line of enjoyable novels. Great chartacter, lot of twist and turns in the story plot and a suspise ending.

As with many good stories, the second half revs up and ties most of the confounding first half together. My major agitation is the repeated explanation of the villain's reasoning for his actions. It doesn't need to be restated ten times.…
