Good story for all ages about how it is better to be kind and good natured than miserable and mean . Good results for the good and vice versa .

The Talking Eggs is a wonderful book that teaches children that it pays to be kind to other people, and that bad things happen to people who are mean to others. This story is a creole Folktale that has a Cinderella feel to it. Children of all ages and even adults will fall in love with this book as I did when I was growing up.

This story is about a widow woman and her two daughters. The mother and oldest daughter would mistreat the youngest daughter (Blanche) who through all the mistreatment and abuse still remained kind and sweet. One day Blanche meets an old woman while on her way to get water for the mother and sister, and helps the old woman. Blanche is rewarded for her act of kindness and leaves her mother and sister on their small farm.
