Delving into these stories, I guess I expected more than I finally received. Much of the book was too reminiscent of Golden Age Asimov or Bradbury: Most of the ideas, being quite interesting, but the stories lacked development. A few, I felt, could have been even novella length, if not longer. Exceptions to this were "...Wilbur Hines" (best story), "...Deluge" and "...Kristin." Not to forget the truly absurd: "Daughter Earth."
