With 40 years of genealogical experience and his professional background in the computer industry, he believes he's developed an accurate method to record and organize collected data. Although a computer is not necessary, he explains its advantages for recording and searching sources. His plan includes a log for objectives and activities, a list of all sources consulted, and a file of the information culled from each source. In addition, he carefully explains a system for numbering individuals and indexing all entries with multiple examples and exercises. This appears to be a logical and clearly explained system to help those already involved in genealogical research. Recommended for genealogy collections.Linda L.
