A Los Angeles ghetto is the scene where Easy Rawlins is asked by his friend John to find and help his son Brawly. Easy has a lady friend and two children who are real and interesting. I enjoy this series, for Mosley captures the language, food, and culture of ghetto life without the jive talk that is often seen in movies.
