Ok book, but have read better by Elizabeth Berg. Kept waiting to get to the point throughout the book. Was disappointed that when the story finally got to where it was going, the details fell short and it ended too abruptly.

I have never been disappointed by any book written by Anita Berg.

Even though these are fiction, one tends to recognise all her situations as real life matters.

If it hasn't happended to you, it has happened to someone close to you.

I like Berg as a writer. She is easy going, provides a good narrative and good insight. A good read.

Laura looks forward to traveling back to her hometown with her family every year to experience the old fashioned fun of the Fair. Her brother and sister will also be there to enjoy the fair and more importantly the camaraderie of their extended family. However, this year at the fair will bring about many changes in their relationships and their perception of their family. Ties that bind are tested to their very core. Elizabeth Berg once again brings a family situation into sharp focus.
