Had me hooked, but it was too gruesome and violent for my taste. I stopped reading about 3/4 of the way through.

Read Natchez Burning and then The Bone Tree. Had to start from The Quiet Game to follow the characters. I'm hooked! Greg Iles is another fave author!

The second one of his novels that I have read, can't wait to get into the rest! Very good

A solid story and well written as usual. There are parts of his story telling, non-fiction, that bring you right to the point more real than an "deja-vu".
