Tom is caught up in a 50-year old story about Littleton Flats. He is frustrated in his attempts to unearth the truth by those who use his past fake stories to discredit him. This is a good thriller with multi-faceted events. Enjoyed "Derailed" and "Detour" much more than "Deceit". It definitely shows what lying gets you in this book as well as in real life. Loss of trust has its own sad consequences.

Great plot. Bad execution. The author takes all the juice out of the story by padding it with too much internal dialogue.
