Add a CommentGood book. I didn't realize it was about the child of 2 seperated parents and her pet. I thought it was geared more torwards the dog following her. I might not of read this to my young children as they didn't understand why mom and did lived in 2 different homes (FYI)
A great picture book for family situations where children spend their time in two homes.
This is a very moving ‘sensitive topic’ story about divorce. If you are experiencing divorce and looking for a story appropriate for a 4 to 8 year-old that discusses the feelings children have – this book is for you. It tells the story of a girl who is sometimes with her mother and sometimes with her father, but her dog Fred is her constant companion. Beautifully illustrated, this is a perfect story time book for newly separated parents.
About a girl who has divorced parents, stays at both her mom's and her dad's place, but the dog "Fred" goes where she goes.
