I'm usually a pretty big enthusiast about vintage cartoons, but, with that said, I found these early, silent-era shorts from the "Disney Studios of Animation" to be a far crying from being satisfying (from an adult's perspective).

Very corny and full of saccharine-type sentimentality, these 14, b&w "Adventures of Oswald, the Lucky Rabbit" shorts, from 1927-1928, were the immediate predecessors to Disney's famous Mickey Mouse cartoons.

Yes. I fully-agree that, from the perspective of animation in the history of Hollywood, these old-time shorts certainly do hold some degree of relevance and significant merit. (I mean, I don't hate them.) But, solely from the standpoint of their entertainment value, I, for one, found "The Adventures of Oswald, the Lucky Rabbit" cartoons just weren't my cup of tea.
