These globe-spanning adventures pit Batman against many criminal elements, including, the fearsome Scarecrow, the freakish Killer Croc, and the unerring marksman Deadshot. I like my cartoons as much as the next guy and more than most, BATMAN being a favorite. This feature left me underwhelmed as the Dark Knight Detective -to my thinking- does NOT translate well to the anime end of the animated spectrum. Japanese Batman was just plain creepy looking, no getting around it. Gotham City was well-realized and enjoyable and the stories were engaging, especially the first one. But the anime style left me cold.

Very enjoyable! And the animation style's blew my away. I found it to be very original, having a different style for each episode.
The show was a little dark and creepy at times, but that just adds to Batman. Gotham is gritty and was portrayed well.
And the voice actor for Batman was was chosen really well, he is one of my two favorite Batman voices, the other being Bruce Greenwood.

As with most anthology films, Batman: Gotham Knight is a mixed bag, with the vignettes ranging from ridiculous to interesting.
