I picked up this book because it seemed intriguing. The front and back covers explained the shadow effect on ones life and how to fully accept it. I read the first 20 pages and was just not feeling it at all. I reminded me of something you would find on the flat earth society webpage. Theories that are built on the fact that you cannot disprove or prove that the shadow effect exists.
