I kept hoping this movie was going to go somewhere but never happened. It's a waste of time. Could not get interested in any of the characters, or what happened to them.

Don't know which made me sadder: watching this film's morally obtuse characters plod through its tedious script, or watching close-ups of the devastation to Meg Ryan's formerly gorgeous face by recent cosmetic procedures.

Good - Serious Moonlight (2009) 84 min. Though Meg Ryan’s approach to marriage counselling is criminal and may be seen as totally selfish; what she does is actually very giving. She gives her husband, who’s about to leave her for another woman, a chance to re-examine their relationship in hopes of re-igniting or remembering how much he actually loves her. What usually happens in failed relationships is that one or both spouses lose their love for each other or more accurately speaking “misplace their love”. And if it’s lost, it’s their obligation to each other to find the love that has been merely misplaced. Unfortunately, there is so much hurt in the one that is left behind that the first reaction is to punish. Meg Ryan’s character sets her punitive response aside (sort of) and hopes for a way to get her husband to see the errors of his ways and ask for forgiveness. Wow, what a gift to endow on someone you love. “To err is human, to forgive divine”. The resolution of the film may be awkward and unrealistic, but the sentiment is all there in a whimsical, and at times, funny presentation.
