The beginning of this book has some really interesting and great information. The recipes, on the other hand, were "too healthy" for myself and my husband. We are trying to eat healthier, but I will have to work my way up to this level.

I actually ordered this book off Amazon after checking it out from the library because it had some really useful information along with delicious recipes. My expectations going in were low based on the author's previous disaster of a book "Skinny Bitch" but this cookbook is worth checking out.

Some good stuff, and some so-so stuff.

PLUS side: LOTS of great general and nutritional info bits for folks who seek vegan food choices. I recommend this book solely for the informational side.

MINUS side: Caution - some cooking experience required for recipe preparation. Recipe instructions seem to be written in haste, which leaves me wondering if recipes were tested before published.
