Add a CommentLuce... she lives a painful life, but gets a chance to have another one. Will she trust her new family, and if she does, will they keep that trust or make her miserable like her last family. Starts off kind of slow but is definitely worth reading!
I read this book over the summer, if I remember right, and I loved it. It's an almost primal twist on the classic mermaid tales, and you instantly love Luce.
This book was fantastic! It had lots of unexpected turns and twists. I highly recommened this book! :)
I really loved this book!! I agree that the beginning is a little slow, but from there it takes off and gets way better! It is a MUST READ!! I haven't read a book this good in a while actually.. XD
Little slow to start but then it took off. Definitely a different approach to mermaids which is awesome because it was a look more at the siren part of it. I'm excited for the next one.
Horrible. Don't bother to read.
i havent read this book yet, but it seems very interesting. The cover is outstanding, and the title really captured me. I cant wait to read this book.
The book was better than I thought it would be. Definatly not for sheltered people of the real world, the characters were complex and the ending left something to be desired. There needs to be a sequal. Great book.
I was very disappointed with this book. I really tried to like it and get into it, but I just couldn't. I almost stopped reading it several times, but I was hoping that it would get better. Sadly, it did not, and I wasted my time reading this book. I do not recommend this book at all.
