This adorable story about animal friends is now in a chunky board book format!

In the Jingle Jangle Jungle on a cold and rainy day,
four litte friends found a perfect place to play.
None of them had noticed that someone else was there.
Sleeping in that cave was a VERY cranky...

When four friends encounter a cranky bear, they decide they must cheer him up. Moose, Lion and Zebra's outrageous ideas all backfire, which leaves it up to poor, plain Sheep to deal with this beast, who just wants a quiet place to sleep. Whatever will she do? This rhyming story with hilarious illustrations is guaranteed to entertain its readers and its listeners!

Lovely story with the message that you need to think about what other people would like - not just assume they'd like what you like.
Well written. Nice rhymes. Beautifully illustrated.
My two year old loves this book.

Nick Bland's rhyming text is fun and sing-songy, with plenty of "roars" from Bear that children will love to join in on. His artwork is colorful, clear, and hilarious. The book also excels with its themes of generosity and friendship.

The first thing that stands out about this book are the illustrations of the animals on the very first page. The lion has such a wonderfully wild mane and the moose has creative antlers. The illustrations throughout this book are colorful and creative.

This is a wonderful story about the animal who is the least flashy (the plain sheep) coming to the rescue by helping the cranky bear. The other animals try their own flashy solutions, but none actually understand what the bear really needs. The sheep listens and the sheep delivers. Yes! This story is a great example of friendships and relationships.

The bear may be cranky, but he is not frightening. I would recommend this book for any age.

This bear is clearly not a morning person either; very amusing.
