Wonderful voice casting. Detail in the animation and story itself were wonderful. The humour was for adults and ages 7+! Fabulous! And could Snowy be ANY cuter?! Not a flaw made in my opinion.

Very good movie. My sons (7 and 9) really enjoyed it. The drawing in particular was very good.

Not as funny as the comics. Would be a good children's show if not for the vulgar humor, and the porn hanging on the walls in such scenes as the sailor bunks.

Enjoyed it even after watching it multiple times. Captain Haddock funny #1, "Snowy" Milou #2, Thompson & Thomson #3.

I love the world this movie shows the sumptuous scenery of Belgium and Morocco. The story is compelling too.

I liked this DVD. It is okay for young children. There is some subtle violence. No sexual scenes. The plot is strong. If you like 3D cartoons and pirate stories involving sleuthing you will like this movie.

Captain Haddock: I thought you were an optimist.
Tintin: You were wrong, weren't you? I'm a realist.
Captain Haddock: Ah, it's just another name for a quitter.
Tintin: You can call me what you like. Don't you get it? We failed.
Captain Haddock: Failed. There are plenty of others willing to call you a failure. A fool. A loser. A hopeless souse. Don't you ever say it of yourself. You send out the wrong signal, that is what people pick up. Don't you understand? You care about something, you fight for it. You hit a wall, you push through it. There's something you need to know about failure, Tintin. You can never let it defeat you.
