A memoir by Benjamin Mee, tells the true account of how the author and his family used their life savings to buy a dilapidated zoo, replete with 200 exotic animals facing destruction, in the English countryside. Mee, along with his children, had to balance caring for his wife, who was dying of brain cancer, with dealing with escaped tigers, raising endangered animals, working with an eclectic skeleton crew and readying the zoo for a reopening.

entertaining, language is no different than how people normally speak , if you cannot handle the language then you best watch only religous movies. i found this movie entertaining and fun to watch and nowhere near to being offensive

painful, some very unnecessary language and
just...when is it over???

Besides the brief language, it was a nice fun movie to watch for the whole family.

What a delightful surprise this was. Based on a true story. The acting of the children was impressive.

A good movie! Much better than the book. Well, in the book, the reality of running a zoo had many more struggles than was portrayed in the movie.. This movie does make a good family entertainment. Make sure to watch the Extras of how the movie was made, quite interesting!

Cheesy feel-good fare, solid choice for a rainy Sunday afternoon but hardly a life-altering experience. The extended interviews with the real Benjamin Mee and family in the bonus material may well have been the most interresting part.
