Mallory Kane (Carano) is the woman the U.S. government calls on to take care of their dirty work. She's fast, efficient, and -- perhaps most important of all -- clean. But when Mallory makes the mistake of saving a Chinese journalist from certain death, she becomes an enemy to the very same government she once served. Mallory isn't going down without a fight, though, and after a close brush with death, she realizes that the only way to save her own life is to reveal the government's deception. Now, as assassins close in from all sides in an ominous attempt to silence her forever, Mallory sets a trap and races to reveal a massive deception that threatens global stability.

Suspense and action spy-themed film with a talented female lead, Gina Carano, (like a female Jason Bourne) and two favorite actors: Michael Douglas and Ewan McGregor in lesser roles. Plenty of exciting fight and escape scenes. Really enjoy when a chick is so skilled, she kicks several guys' butts! Still can't wrap my head around the fact Bill Paxton just passed away suddenly. Paxton plays Mallory's dad who lives in a fabulous house somewhere out west which gives a brief view of some fantastic scenery.

Wonderful spy/conspiracy/espionage movie from an acclaimed director. The story's told in a nice way with flashbacks and fore shadowing. Real good fight scenes and very well choreographed. Gina Carano's performance despite her short presence in movie business is very good.

Great fight scenes and action, just lacking a lot of plot or character development.

Expected more from Soderbergh. Loved Gina. She's got that it factor.

Gina Carano is tough as nails, and a hottie, which is why she landed this part. It's probably wise that she's no longer active in MMA, as the inevitable cauliflower ears would likely limit her 'acting' opportunities...

While this movie isn't great and the acting is stiff, it's still kinda good. It's like Magic Mike but with MMA instead of dancin'.

As other commenters have noted, Gina Carano's martial arts and fighting skills are really highlighted by the film.

I'd recommend this film if you're already a fan of Soderbergh movies - even if it falls far short of Out of Sight.

Jus like you wouldn't send a machinest to put out a blazing fire, (you'd send a fireman!) Gina Carano should stick to martial arts and let actors stick to acting. I love Michael Fassbender, i love Ewan MacGregor, but their roles were so bland... i just couldn't do it!
