Much better than "Call Me Princess" the previous book I read by the author. It's an ok story, a sort of Nordic Grey, not Noire. The structure seemed meandering at times, and the I guessed the villain about half-way through. It's kind of obvious amidst a parade of red herrings. The story is essentially a police procedural without any heart-thumping tension.
