A delightful trilogy that's a must-watch for fans of James Herriot.

Unfortunately axed by the BBC after only 3 episodes. Especially a shame since the character of the young vet is outstanding: much kinder and more vulnerable than the later portrayal in All Creatures Great and Small.

Interesting film and interpretation of James Herriot's early ears! Enjoyable!

This is refreshing entertainment. Was there more than three episodes made?
