Where to start! I should give this a terrible review so I can keep the book longer which I cannot - back off you hyenas! - no offense meant :^) -said in 'primal spirit' - no renewal possible as there are 'people waiting'. I would have liked to keep this book longer than 21 days. Paleo diet talk has been around for a while (haha 2,000,000 years- 5 years for most of us). Being a detail person I did not get on board with the incidental references to this concept in the media that I saw, nothing very compelling. However this book is compelling. My first in depth read on the topic - all I can say is wow, all conventional wisdoms are trashed - this book has info want (need?) to know: The fat epidemic explained with an easy rx solution. Very beguiling . Well expressed. What is not to like about : "relax more, exercise less! eat lots of fat and meat ! have fun " and so forth. This book has 21 day plan on how implement 'Paleo; The author has a web page with hundred of success testimonials. Although the plural of anecdote is anecdotes and not data, it is rather compelling. I have eased in and will be starting in earnest on Monday after the 360 km weekend long Rideau Lakes tour bike ride (an enterprise dissapproved by Sisson to be sure). Shout out to LadySugar who reviewed this and brought it to my attendiion - the irony of the sobriquete, the irony.
As as home beer brewer it is somewhat bad news for my hobby but does explain the obvious correlation to beer brewed and kilos gained in a giant pot belly. I plan to report back and update this post in 25 days with my 'anecdote.'

I found this book easy to use, informative, and employed the use of helpful photographs. Although I do not <agree> with everything I recognize the information to be very relevant when pursuing ultimate dietary health (which of course transcends into overall health) . I hope that I can muster the courage to make some of the recommended changes. One step at a time though.

This is the most accessible, friendly and easy-to-understand introduction to evolutionary-based lifestyles and eating I have found. I loved this book! It's a quick, easy read and will give you the tools you need to start eating and living like nature intended. This is a fabulous weight-loss program, fitness program, and enery/vitality promoting program. I feel fabulous since starting my Primal/Paleo journey a few months ago. If you want to learn more about nutrition and how conventional wisdom is wrong, this book is for you.
