Great book! It's starts out pretty slow but once you get past the first 20 pages or so it's fantastic! Read this if you liked The Book Thief.

Franziska Mangold is a girl with Jewish heritage who has been raised as a Protestant, who escapes from Germany on the famous Kindertransport to England just as World War II breaks out across Europe. Her observant Jewish foster family welcomes her into their fold and while she struggles with the separation from her birth family, she soon settles into London life in wartime.
