This is an entertaining German war-time tale of turmoil and triumph directed by Wolfgang Murnberger, originally produced as a motion picture in 2011.
It is based on the novel "Wie es Victor Kaufmann Gelang, Adolf Hitler doch noch zu ├╝berleben" by Paul Hengge.
The film focuses on two men (Victor and Rudi) and a priceless drawing by Michelangelo, which becomes crucial to Nazi plans.
Only Victor's family knows where the original drawing is.
The game of cat and mouse results in plane crashes, stolen identities, and the enigmatic key to Lena's heart.
The Jews are usually depicted as victims, but in this picture Victor (the son of a wealthy Jewish art dealer) turns out to be a---well---victor with his wit and will.

Unfortunately this movie has been dubbed and it is dubbed very poorly with terrible voices. Some of the voices are Southern American (not very convincing for a German officer), could only watch about 15 minutes of it. There is no option for subtitles and the original language. If this just happens to be the DVD I had please let me know.
