This story about Laney and how she deals with her husband Jay's coma after he was hit by falling ice is so sweet. This is surprisingly a feel-good story and an enjoyable read. Laney has a charming way of daydreaming and through her eyes and imagination we witness lovely vignettes of life. Berg writes with warmth and humanity, taking us by the hand on her characters' journey. I found it a good holiday read.
