"Trenton, New Jersey's favorite used car dealer, Jimmy Poletti, was caught selling a lot more than used cars out of his dealerships. Now he's out on bail and has missed his date in court--and bounty hunter Stephanie Plum is looking to bring him in. Leads are quickly turning into dead ends, and all too frequently into dead bodies. Even Joe Morelli, the city's hottest cop, is struggling to find a clue to the suspected killer's whereabouts. To top things off, Ranger--resident security expert and Stephanie's greatest temptation--has been the target of an assassination plot. He's dodged the bullet this time, but if Ranger wants to survive the next attempt on his life, he'll have to enlist Stephanie's help. Death threats, highly trained assassins, highly untrained assassins and Stark Street being overrun with a pack of feral Chihuahuas are all in a day's work for Stephanie Plum"--Provided by publisher.

"It was mesmerizing," Grandma said. "It was like staring into the eye of a cobra. I don't care if I do anything else on the bucket list. This was awesome. It was like a biblical experience."

everyone should have a pack of killer chihuahua's - especially if you are a little person
Fluffy and feel good... I love to read Janet Evanovich, especially when I'm a little down. I actually laugh out loud at Lula, grandma, Stephanie and the other crazy characters.
Not sure if it's because I took a break from Janet Evanovich books or that she is on the upswing, but I enjoyed this outing with Stephanie and the gang. Although, I still would like it to be resolved soon...
Usually I get tired of a series. These are so enjoyable. A good story with alot of laugh-out-loud moments. Enjoy!!
Midgets, Russians, a pack of wild Chihuahuas, and numerous failure-to-appears are simply the norm for Stephanie Plum, bail bonds enforcer. Add trained assassins, Grandma Mazur ticking off items on her bucket list, Lulu's antics, and an attempt on Ranger's life. Now what do you get? Another amazing and laugh-out-loud read by Evanovich. I know, I know, the circumstances are similar to most of her other books, but somehow I never tire of reading them. The romantic tension is still going strong between Steph, Morelli, and Ranger, but IMO it doesn't read as strong in this book. I would definitely recommend for a quick, fun read.
There were a good dozen times that I had to put this book down.....to wipe away the tears of laughter.
The best Stephanie Plum book in a while... Enjoy!
Grandma and the shower scene was absolutely priceless. I was howling at her comments. I'm so looking forward to book Twenty-Two.
A patron review from the Adult Summer Game: "The latest escapades of Stephanie Plum. Always entertaining and a quick read."
