Not my favorite series. Too many characters and easy to forget stuff.

The ending was really good. It makes you want to read the second book. I think the beginning was a bit too slow. personally, it was quite boring in the middle. Anyways I do like this book. Also, you can try The Secret of droon series. Hope you like this book :))

I thought it was a good book to pick after Riordan's, but my 10 yo got disturbed by too much murders going on after a few chapters. I will wait another year or two till trying it with her again.

I think ten-year-old me would have really liked this book, with its puzzles, codes and historical secrets. Give it a shot! Also available as a streaming audiobook through Hoopla Digital.

"A coded email. An antique star map. A suspicious death. All of these mysteries come together when Wade and his stepbrother Darrell realise that they hold the first clue to finding a powerful, time-altering device created by the astronomer Copernicus. Soon Wade and Darrell are flung headlong into a code-breaking, puzzle-solving, globe-trotting quest to locate all 12 pieces of the device before the ruthless knights of the Teutonic Order catch up to them. Fans of the 39 Clues series will appreciate the thrilling pace, historical background, and smart humour of this suspenseful series debut."
