A solutions-oriented documentary chronicling the current state of the U.S. meat industry. First explaining how America arrived at our current industrial system, the story shifts to the present day, showing the feedlots and confinement houses, not through hidden cameras but through the eyes of the farmers who live and work there.

In the movie it says that every American citizen pays $112.00 to subsidize the pork industry in the USA. Excellent movie. Also watch Food Inc.

Neat documentary that examines the basics of the industrialized meat markets and the smaller organic/ welfare meat markets.

For those who couldn't watch Food Inc. this is the movie for you. There are no bad guys in this one. It is a very balanced look at the food industry and the trap that we are in. Easy to understand and yet compelling. Also suitable for kids.

Great documentary on sustainable, ethical, meat production. It would be nice for our country to head in this direction... Farming, the way it used to be.
