"Deadly and tortured, Vane Kattalakis isn't what he seems. Many women lament that their boyfriends are dogs. In Bride McTierney's case, hers is a wolf. A Were-Hunter wolf. Wanted dead by his enemies, Vane isn't looking for a mate. But the Fates have marked Bride as his. Now he has three weeks to either convince Bride that the supernatural is real or he will spend the rest of his life neutered -- something no self-respecting wolf can accept. But how does a wolf convince a human to trust him with her life when his enemies are out to end his? In the world of the Were-Hunters, it really is dog-eat-dog. And only one alpha male can win"--Provided by publisher.

Book #6 about Vane and Bride; preceded by Kiss of the night and followed by Seize the Night. One of my favourites in the series.

5 stars
Another awesome tale in the Dark Hunters series; I could barely set it down. There was a bit of suspense over Fury's loyalties, but I love how all of the family tension was resolved. I also enjoyed seeing Otto again and watching Valerius soften a bit with Bride. Vane is a dream, and I'm glad that he and Bride have each other. Kenyon is one of the few authors who consistently serves up couples who are well-balanced and equally likable. I'm looking forward to the next book, not only because I enjoy the series as a whole, but because Tabitha and Valerius are both so contrary. And I can only imagine the fits that they're going to give Kyrian...

This was a GREAT book! I read it in 12 hours. I don't normally do that. This book has hot love scenes and an honest and almost open Hero. That was refreshing kind of slant. Sherrilyn Kenyon has gold dipped quill in my opinion. This 5th book in the Dark Hunter introduces us to Were-Hunters as opposed to her Dark-Hunters. Same thing but different Animal. Guaranteed good time read.

This is my very favorite book ever. It features a plus sized sassy girl named Bride who is found attractive because of how she looks. And she can kick butt too!
