A really good book. I was really involved with the characters in this story.

This book was so enlightening in a most entertaining manner. I expected a journalistic presentation of the problems women faced due to the one child policy in China. However, I was so very pleasantly surprised by the wonderful writing style, and the engaging storyline that really drew me in. I was really engaged with the characters all the way through, and kept having to remind myself that this wasn't only a great story, but was based on Diane Bestwick's personal experience of people she shared her life with over her 8 years in China. A must read!!!!
