Drawn to this book by the words ‘quick and easy’ on the cover. I’ve heard about the China Study ages ago and am familiar with its nutrition standard and whole food approach. As a plant based eater I’m always keen to learn new veg recipes. The highlight for me is the meal planning guide and the encouragement to “cook once and eat all week” strategy. Quinoa- black bean Buddha bowl and Thai-bean spread are next on my list to try.

It was worth picking up this book for the green sauce and chickpea falafel recipes! I like the author's approach to meal planning and using leftovers to inspire the next day's meals.
