Stylish, yet practical sewing patterns for playful young ones.

Hop, skip and jump your way through over 20 practical and stylish clothing designs for children ages 3-8. This year-round collection was designed with active boys and girls in mind, and includes shirts, dresses, skirts, pants, jackets and charming accessories. The cuts are classic and the fabrics are kid-friendly cotton, linen, knits, and fleece. Delicate details and impeccable finishing complete the look, making all sewing projects look like they were purchased from a trendy boutique.

Despite the polished look, every garment has detailed and fully illustrated instructions, and requires only basic sewing skills. Special sewing techniques have been stepped out to show how to successfully achieve beautiful results, such as binding an armhole, making box pleats, gathering techniques, and making patch pockets. These clothing designs are timeless, functional, easy-to-sew, and kids will love wearing them as much as mom loves making them!

I loved this book and have checked it out at least three times to make a pattern. It has more girl patterns than boys, but it is an amazing book! I recommend it highly!
