check out Chris Cornell's solo cd "Scream". I came in late to appreciate his talents having loved the Temple of the Dog hit "Hungry" and also M.A.C.C "Hey Joe." Other than that all I knew was that he was part of the original Seattle grunge thing which was a huge turning point even moreso than when punk changed the scene. I knew he had really long hair and man that boy could wail! God gifted voice. Then I found Scream and listened to it with unbiased ears. It saved my life. I too, was dealing with a woman suffering from Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) prevalent in domestic violence arrests because the woman lies and believes her own lies solely due to childhood trauma and/or growing up as a child in a dysfunctional family (divorce, witnessing physical harm by daddy beating up mommy, molestation, etc.) which causes the still developing brain to form slight detours around the parts they can't handle as a child and forms little detours, or the way her brain is trained at that malleable age by the time the child ((90% are women) the brain stops growing and becomes "hard wired" for life. 100% of those afflicted pass lie detector tests because they believe their own lies. It's not their fault, they were little children coping with brutal realities they are seeing but not equipped to deal with, so they form ways to protect themselves. Sadly, a woman accusing a man or crimes against her wins every time. Men today have no rights and who is going to take the side of the alleged abuser? It is described tragically throughout the cd which is recorded in the same fashion as Jethro Tull Thick as a Brick, Cat Stevens Foreigner and Chambers Brothers Love Peace and Happiness, also Beatles White Album, first track leads to each track as part of one 45 minute opus or one big opera. Timbaland did everything other than Chris singing and writing. Justin Timberlake shows up on the best track, track 9, which brings tears to my eyes now just thinking about how Timbaland throws in his only vocal "Why you yelling Baby? I'm standing right in front of you." I haven't listened to his cd recorded way back in 1972 but I've got some catching up to do. Scream was one of the greatest albums of my life and I was dropping acid in San Francisco with hair 2 foot long in 1972 so I've been around. I can't believe he is dead. God will Bless you Chris Cornell, surely as you have touched countless lives, even if only, I was the only one. Your music saved me from killing myself and/or other people. Take care of yourself up there, and sleep well knowing you touched many lives when no one else did. You did. Peace LG

This book is an Awesome read! I grew up hearing the songs that Timbaland produced on the radio. To get an in depth look at Tim's rise in the music industry and the musicians he's worked with is truly inspiring.

If you enjoy Hip-Hop & R&B you will enjoy this book.
