I have the book, not the ebook.

I always adore her books, but this one dragged on and on until the last 1/4 of the book. The ending was right, but it took too long to get there.

I have been a Jodi Picoult fan for many, many years and have continued for the most part to enjoy and love her books. They provide insight to so many different concepts of life. This book was no exception. Although the storyline was heartbreaking, it was also filled with uplifting thoughts and many people providing care and concern for Cassie. I wasn't sure what to expect with this story as many of the comments made by others were less than positive. I loved it!!

this book was so heartbreaking but it showed me what it felt to be actually strong

Good and easy read, although the subject of domestic violence is unfortunately a reality for many women from all walks of life.

I like stories of personal growth because I cheer for the characters in the books plus I learn things to apply in my real life. This book is a great example of that.

I was asked to read this for a book club, so I really don';t know if I would have picked it up on my own. However, it was actually very good. It's not my favorite Jodi Picoult, but it was interesting. I actually think that the Native American subplot added to the story since it was directly opposite of the grandiose lifestyle of the Hollywood plot.

There's nothing too special about this book. It seems like it's been done before and done better.

took me a while to get into it, but it was alright. not my favorite, but not too bad either. entertaining enough.

Although it appears, at first, to be a rather soap opera-themed novel, Picture Perfect eventually fades into a complicated and intriguing story about love and allegiance. With interesting side notes concerning anthropology and the stark contrast in different American cultures, Picture Perfect presents a multi-dimensional look at domestic abuse.

To the outside world, they seemed to have it all. Cassie Barrett, a renowned anthropologist, and Alex Rivers, one of Hollywood's hottest actors, met on the set of a motion picture in Tanzania. They shared childhood secrets, toasted the future, and declared their love for each other in a fairy-tale wedding. But when they returned to California, a new side to Alex Rivers began to emerge. A frightening pattern took shape--a cycle of hurt, denial, and promises, thinly veiled by glamour. Torn between fear and something that resembled love, Cassie wrestled with questions she never dreamed she would face: How could she leave? Then again, how could she stay?
