I really enjoy Lucinda Riley's writing. Even though her stories, once all the scenarios are set, are entirely predictable as to outcome, she's convincing and entertaining on topical subjects. This time, it is the world of Italian Opera and a family of restauranteurs, not to mention the highly profitable trade in stolen art.
