Such a great movie. Patrick Stewart once again reminding us that he can do anything. And Anton is so good in it.

Patrick Stewart in a different kind of role. Yelchin RIP.

Simpler and better than I thought this movie would be, punks vs skins the movie.

Not a bad thriller -- I would've killed to hear Jean-Luc, aka Locutus, belt out, "RESISTANCE IS FUTILE!!"

This could have been a good film- but lazy writing sunk any chances of that.

A horror movie, certified 100% free of stupid jump scares and the supernatural. This is Last House on the Left, not The Conjuring. Four sweet-natured kids who play punk music and try to live the lifestyle are trapped in a Nazi skinhead club after witnessing a murder. The set-up is simple, but everything about this movie -- photography, costumes, set design, sound, effects, dialogue -- is deeply considered. You may need two or three viewings or the director's commentary to appreciate how different Green Room is from other films in this genre, and why it is a fitting memorial to the late Anton Yelchin. To say more would move into spoilers (beware of some of the comments below), but expect the unexpected.

Not bad for a horror show with decent original music and imaginative script. Good watch for those looking for violence and gore in unusual places. Patrick Stewart and the young actors did a convincing job as vile Nazis and some living on the edge punk musicians.
