I am Destiny from the SAMB, or as known the Spirit Animal Forums.
I bring to you what I know. PLEASE DON'T READ IF YOU DO NOT WANT SPOILERS...
Kovo and the other Great Beasts are ordinary animals. Something funny is going on in the skies, 15 animals from each tribe are sent to look. A piece of the sky falls down. Everyone is dead. The survivors are the 15 Great Beasts and they feel stronger and look bigger. Kovo seeks what has caused this. It was an egg.
Abeke, Rollan, Kirat, and Tasha have arrived at the Place of Desolation, which turns out to be a volcano with a fort in it. It was created by the Hellans and it was set on the axis of Erdas to confuse birds flying by. They meet Niri, a girl who cannot move her legs, who summoned Mulop.
Conor is possessed by the Wyrm, so Meilin bound Conor to stop him from escaping.
Xanthe is alive, she finds a group of people who aren't infected and rings a bell, half of the trap for the Wyrm.
Abeke is walking back to the room where Rollan, Tasha, Kirat, and the children who have lost their spirit animals are when suddenly a flying possessed Uraza is coming at her. A RedCloak leaps up. Abeke sees two yellow eyes behind a mask.
It was Shane.
Shane is bitten on his side. He dies gaining Abeke's forgiveness in tears.
The Wyrm takes control of Zerif, when a bell is rung. The partners' and their spirit animals' minds are reversed and Zerif is in control of the Wyrm. Abeke begs him to kill it, and Zerif screams and jumps into the lava killing himself and the Wyrm.
Abeke, Rollan, Conor, and Meilin reunite with each other!
Abeke later sets on a journey alone to Stetriol and 6 months later, find Uraza!
I think I gave too much in my summary, but I like giving spoilers, especially when no one has read the book yet.
Long before humans walked the land, it came to Erdas. Wicked, patient, and hungry, it has slept beneath the surface of the world.
Now the Wyrm is awakening.
Conor, Abeke, Meilin, and Rollan are four heroes who are split between worlds, braving separate paths in order to stop this evil. With a strange and unlikely new group of allies behind them, the young guardians have a real chance at saving their home—but they will have to move fast.
An ancient trap exists, hidden within the folds of Erdas itself. Though it has the power to end this war for good, the means of starting the trap have been lost. The young heroes only have one shot. They must work with their spirit animals to uncover a secret older than time. If they can’t, then everything will be consumed.
