May appeal to the women crowd better. Found the movie to be boring and painfully slow. Manage to get through the movie by watching it in parts.

I groaned; I moaned. And that was waaaaay before the delivery scenes. The only reason to watch this is if you are a big fan of Rene Z; you HAVE to be to get through it.

About what you would expect for a third sequel. It's OK; a few laughs.

Not terrible, but this series has lost its way. The good thing about the first film was that it's a relatable romantic comedy about finding the right person. In the 2nd not-so-funny film, self-doubt questioned that decision but things turned out ok. The bad advice of this 3rd film is to ignore lengthy past history (and even science) to go with your gut because things could only be better when a baby is involved. The Hugh Grant church scene points out a double standard that is quickly forgotten. At no time does Patrick Dempsey's celebrity millionaire mathematician character wonder whether a one-night stand claiming he is the father might be after his money. Foul language and not particularly funny.

Seems to be a fairy tale about a WHIP (Woman who is Hot, Intelligent and in her Prime) who was still single but primed to procreate and settle down with her backup dream mate. A few, just a few, funny moments and learned a couple of feminine acronyms. Watched this because loved the first Bridget Jones's Diary film.

It was OK this movie. I adore the first one, disliked the second one. So I was not too sure what I'd get with this movie. I like where Bridget's character is in the movie: still single and no husband or baby whereas everyone else in her life is, and her family is reminding her of her is very relatable. So, I liked the idea of the movie and I like where it headed (getting pregnant and not knowing who the father is). But, honestly, it was not that funny. The ending is quite predictable and it just wasn't interesting enough to hold my attention throughout the movie.

This was, of course, very silly, but I was upset by how old Colin Firth looks

Not the light-hearted comedy I was looking for. First movie was good at capturing the "chick lit" movement and I wasn't expecting drama or complicated plot from this one. However, there's little chemistry between the character that Renee plays and the American "challenger", while Colin Firth seems rather depressed. While presented as a sidenote, teaching children how to swear and assess bedmates also seemed incongruous despite pained attempts to make it seem charming.

I'm no prude but I thought the first third of this movie was vulgar and I almost turned it off. The whole premise was ridiculous but I will agree with other reviewers: Emma Thompson was absolutely fantastic as her doctor and shines every time that she is on screen. If you watch the extras, Emma talks about being a co-writer on this movie and her first time writing a romantic-comedy. I truly hope we see more of this talented writer-actor. "Geriatric" pregnancy certainly hits it dead on; Colin Firth looked like he was embarassed to be in the movie.

Many quotes in IMDb except:

I think I've already passed my sexual expiration date.
-No. There are names for women like you. You're a cougar. You're a MILF.
I'm not a MILF, I'm not a mother. I am a spinster, I'm a OVILF (numerology ??).
Everyone is older than she. I have cans of soup that are older than they are.
Eduardo and I are going to adopt.
-Adopt? What, baby?
Yes, baby. A GAYBY, in our case.
The women checked the pregnancy test stick:
I think that's a positive result. Pregnant... I check it here.
- Do not shake. You do hurt the baby.
The baby is not in the stick.
There is a march for women's rights.
-Really, we need more rights?

Mark: Well, I can always find time to save the world. And Bridget, you're my world.
