Charming story where the main characters are a boy and his grandfather. The grandfather, separated by the Spanish Civil War from his family, does not know his birthday. This troubles the grandson, who pressures the old man to journey back to find the birthday. There is then, through their travels, the gradual uncovering of forgotten events and people. The story would make a good Disney movie.
