Eric Van Lustbader can't seemingly remember anything in Jason Bourne's past. He, as you know, killed off all other major characters from Ludlum's trilogy and they have been thoroughly forgotten. Their replacements can't hold a candle to them. The author has ruined a great trilogy with all the drivel he has written since. When writing sequels, what has taken place before does matter...and here he fails miserably. Either unable or unwilling to use the originals characters and unable to keep his own continuity intact he is best left writing books for dogs.
