"An original addition to the beloved Beauty and the Beast fairy tale, Lost in a Book follows the lonely, bookish Belle as she finds an enchanted book in the Beast's library called Nevermore that carries her into a glittering new world. There, Belle is befriended by a mysterious countess who offers her the life she's always dreamed of. But Nevermore is not what it seems, and the more time Belle spends there, the harder it is to leave. Good stories take hold of us and never let us go, and once Belle becomes lost in this book, she may never find her way out again"--Amazon.com.

My cousin suggested this book to me, knowing I love b=Beauty and the Beast. #BestBookEver!

I love this book so much. It is so captivating and enchanting. It takes you to another place entirely. I assure you, you'll never want to put this book down.this book is great for kids from the ages 8-13. I differently think you should read this book.

I loved it! Sure I read it after I watched the movie but I suggest you read it! The author is amazing! Check her out! The Waterfire saga is amazing!

Although somewhat contrived and poorly edited, this book wonderfully dives into Belle's time at the Beast's castle. The message is quite clear—although sometimes dangerous, foolish, and cruel, love is incredibly powerful and holds the key to what really matters. Also, no matter how chaotic and imperfect the real world is, it's much better to live in reality than to live in a perfect dream.

A loose spin-off of the Emma Watson movie. It was okay, but I expected better, since I adore the animated cartoon and live-action version so much.

It was hard for me to read this after seeing the movie. It just did not seem believable that this could happen to Belle. I knew the tale and this is not how it goes.

"But then again, it's easy to love those who've done right by us, don't you think? A bit harder to love those who've done us wrong." - Death

"To love, to *truly* love another—that is not for the faint of heart. Why, I've seen a husband mop the brow of his plague-ridden wife, heedless of his own safety. I've seen a murderer's mother weep at the gallows, and a starving boy give his last crust of bread to his sister. Love is so strong, so ferocious, that she frightens even me. *Me*, Belle." - Death
