Anna's emotions and experiences at the art museum are mirrored by the art she passes, but everything looks brighter when she recognizes herself in the art. Includes brief details about the works of art represented.

This book is pretty cute. Anna has quite the curious mind, and you can tell, in the book, she struggles to fit into the societal norms expected of her. It was good to see her make personal connections to the art museum during her trip. I think this is a book that both parents and kids can enjoy.

Anna and her mother are at the art museum, but Anna is bored. Will she find a way to relate to the art and learn the rules of museum behavior? This book is filled with images of actual works of art and comes with a list at the back of the book describing each piece. The people and scenes in the museum reflect the works of art on display, further emphasizing the message that we can find ways that art is relatable to our own experiences.
