I read about 200 pages last night because I had to know how it ended! A lovely book with a cool and interesting look at Loki and how the we are in control of our own destiny know matter how much things may seemed stacked against us.
Sometimes when you find out the future, you are more likely to fulfill it then you would have had you not known about it. That's essentially what has happened to Loki. Miss Lee has done an excellent job in making me love the Trickster God even more than I did before. I'm looking forward to number 2 whenever it becomes available. Maybe a backstory for Sif or Frigga, or the Starks of days past? I saw that Easter egg. ;)
I read this for the "Book With The Letter W In The Title" part of my 2020 reading challenge. I loved it, Loki was just as delightful as Percy and Monty in her other series. The "bad guy" was a little predictable and I didn't love the last chapter and how things wrapped up, but otherwise it was fantastic and I actually laughed out loud in sections.
