The early scene of Grindelwald tossing out a Fantastic Creature in disdain is an easy summary of this movie series. While we have a smattering of interesting creatures shown in this movie it is greatly overshadowed by a smattering of expositional story arcs following new and old characters that I just couldn't be interested in.

The confusing twists and turns followed by characters and stories that you kinda forget throughout the movie due to so many plot threads being tossed around at the same time is emphasized in it's complete stupidity when one unknown character spouts off a bunch of exposition backstory via the power of flash back only for another new unknown character to counter said exposition backstory with their own exposition backstory flashback.

This movie is an absolute mess with so much crammed backstory to try and set up characters that we are supposed to like and embrace but the actual execution is done so terribly it merely makes you remember a far better series with the Harry Potter books/movies. Just Kidding Rowling has clearly gone off the rails and should've stopped with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

I agree, rapunzel454. It's horrible to see all the magic and wonder fade away so quickly, like all the stories and movies after the Harry Potter series are sad to watch because they are nothing, NOTHING compared to the most famous set of stories of all times.

It makes me sad to see what JK Rowling has done to the Wizarding World.
