Add a CommentThis may be one of the cutest romance books I've ever read. It wasn't sappy and unrealistic, but witty, sarcastic, and adorable. The authors did a great job of making Olive sassy and witty and I loved that about her character. She grows as a person throughout the story and her big, intrusive Hispanic family was a fun touch to the storyline. And, oh my goodness, the authors did an amazing job of making Ethan's character painfully hot, not just physically, but in a variety of ways. I loved the characters and loved them falling in love. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys playful, sarcastic banter, and feels like being swept away to the islands while they read.
The Unhoneymooners is a romance novel written by Christina Lauren. The story revolves around Olive Torres as she tries to navigate her life after gaining the opportunity to go on her twin sister’s honeymoon to Maui with her nemesis Ethan. This is a classic enemies to lovers tale with a modern twist that many readers will find enjoyable as it unfold throughout the story. Something I really liked about the book was how detailed the author was and how each emotion Olive felt was described very thoroughly. This helps the audience really understand the story from her perspective and deepen their interest in the book. I would recommend this to more mature readers because they will have a more thorough understanding of the content. Overall, this is a great story that will entertain you from the beginning until the end. Rating 4/5.

The perfect read to escape the cold currently outside my window. I love myself a feel-good romance set in a tropical paradise, especially right now.
A fun romp into Chicklit. Take the improbable and turn it into a fantasy fun read.
I’ve read a few books by this author team and I’ve really enjoyed all of them, including this one. It was funny and romantic. I loved the banter between the two main characters.
This was one of my favorite summer reading!
There are so many good romances out these days. This little rom-com was funny and charming.
Hate-to-love romances are my new favorite romance subgenre. The banter was excellent, the sexual tension was hot on the page and the characters were equally lovable and infuriating (like real life!). Highly recommend this standalone novel from Christina Lauren.
Loved this audiobook!
I enjoyed reading this novel. It was a quick and easy read. While I wouldn't categorize it as thought-provoking, the banter between Olive and Ethan was amusing and the situations in which they found themselves were often funny or touching or both. I preferred this title to some of Christina Lauren's more recent books, but still wouldn't recommend it over their earlier titles. They have a nice way of including the male point of view (although being female, I can't speak to its veracity!) Their books provide a nice escape from day to day life.
