I was so disappointed in this! Braun introduces several mysteries, none of which are adequately solved. There are way too many characters. It seems as though all the characters ever mentioned in a "Cat Who" book have to have a line or two. There are so many things going on without enough exposition of any of them. It's hard to care about any of it. it's as though someone found some notes Braun had made for a book (or two) and just put them together without any connections. Sad to say, give it a miss.
