I felt like the piggy character was underdeveloped, and the moral message was muddied a bit when the issue about sharing was mixed with the concept that he who hesitates is lost. The ice cream color - green - was also slightly confusing. Maybe it was pistachio? mint? Sadly, those questions went unanswered. Why was the elephant wearing glasses? That just seems unrealistic. And of course it's a penguin selling ice cream, the worst sort of stereotyping. Why not a camel, or a hyena? I grew slightly tired of this book sometime around the fifteenth reading, and that did not improve with additional readings.
